Complete carburetor kit for Sachs mopeds with 50/2 engines and slot-type control; not compatible with diaphragm-controlled cylinders.
The very short intake stroke, combined with the 15 mm Bing replica carburetor, results in a significant increase in performance. If the air intake volume is still too high, you can use item 17273 as an insert.
Since space is very tight between the cylinder, engine block, and frame, the following must be observed during installation:
- The stud bolts on the cylinder must be removed. The M5x12 screws to be used are included.
- The “swiing®” lettering on the intake manifold must face upward, as the manifold’s flange is slightly angled.
- The milled surface of the air filter housing must face downward.
- The intake manifold, carburetor, and air filter must be pre-assembled. Only then can the entire assembly be installed.
