Description

13.6 mm high clamping ring for mounting the lower bearing shell on various forks. (steering head bearing). 

This snap ring is clamped between the head tube and the lower race so that the race has a firm hold. 

Only part of the spring band is required for most forks. This can simply be cut off with a side cutter.

Figure two is for illustrative purposes only.
