Description

Converter unit suitable for your Piaggio Ciao, Si, Bravo and Boxer moped / moped with variomatic transmission.

High-quality shaft seals (colloquially known as oil seals), correctly installed shim washers, lubricated needle bearings and a concentricity test characterize this torque converter clutch.

Notes: For installation on a Piaggio Ciao, the pulleys must be turned down to approx. 96 mm or the frame must be ground out a little.
The required belt length in combination with a racing vario is 950 mm (rear engine position) to 975 mm (front engine position) for the Ciao. For Piaggio Si models it is 1134 mm to 1150 mm.
The installed counter-pressure spring corresponds to the original in terms of spring force. For a higher starting speed, you can replace this with a higher version as required. When fitting, make sure that the spring tab does not protrude too far into the pulley and could damage the belt.
